Executive summary of National Diabetes Guideline

Abstract

Diabetes is a common healthcare burden throughout the world. Currently, Bangladesh contains 13.1 million people with diabetes mellitus with a similar figure of undiagnosed cases. This figure would be just doubled by the year 2045. We are struggling to provide quality care to people with diabetes due to the limited number of diabetes specialists. The national diabetes guideline, 2023 from NCDC will guide a physician to select appropriate therapy to manage diabetes as well as boost the treatment knowledge of physicians and ensure a better treatment in individualized care.
